Whilst perseverance can be useful and necessary, constantly pushing through closed doors when there are obstacles and resistance is not the most direct way to achieve your goals. Our mind wants and claims to know the way and tells us what to do or not to do.
And this is not very helpful when we want to create..
Your rational mind tells you not to do things when you are scared. It requests you to abandon your goals and dreams when it does not know how to get there as it considers them as unachievable – which they may indeed look like from where you are today.
However, there is a smarter creative force in us and when we allow it to take over, things can happen with less effort – and generally in ways you (your rational mind) would never have thought of.
Focusing on the end result you want to experience, rather than the way to get there, makes you open to see and receive opportunities that bring you closer to your goals.
You will be surprised that what you want may materialise in very different, unexpected and at times magical ways when we get out of the way.
“You don’t have to see the whole path. Stay focused on your destination and take the next step” – Jesse Lyn Stoner
