Don’t change your limiting beliefs!

How do you see yourself?

At the core of how we see the world and ourselves are some very fundamental definitions and beliefs that were created during early childhood. In other words, they are information that was useful to us in the past but is not relevant anymore.

Most of these beliefs are unconscious, influencing not only how we feel about ourselves, but also how we see the world, thus deeply impacting the way we behave, our relationships to others, the opportunities we are seeking and the situations we are avoiding.

From the moment they are formed, engrained in our psyche, we start compensating for them. If you believe that you are not good enough, you will try hard to prove yourself (often high achievers). If you believe that you are not worthy, you will seek appreciation, tend to please and put others first, trying to be a good girl/boy. If you believe you do not belong, you will either try to fit in at any price – or the contrary, try to be different at any price.

You might be disappointed to hear that you can’t change these beliefs about yourself – but there is actually no need to!

Filip Roeckens is an accredited Natural Success coach. Lisa Kretschmann is a Creative Consciousness (ICF) certified coach, a graduate from the Natural Success training and coaching programme and a yoga teacher. Having experienced the power of personal development and intuition work in her own life, Lisa is passionate about the amazing shifts she can create in herself and in others.
